Banga is considered the social capital of Aklan Province. It has the biggest dancing hall in the whole island of Panay. Banga also takes pride of the presence of Manduyog Hill, famous for its beauty, 14 stations of the cross and a big cross atop the hill which is Aklan’s counterpart of Mount Calvary. This landmark has become the focus of the annual Holy Week celebration in the province and a tourist attraction.
